Come Grow with Us

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

— Galatians 5:1

Welcome to St. James Lutheran Church.

Thank you for taking time to connect with us. We always enjoy having visitors — online and in person.

Located between Bothell and Mill Creek, Washington, we are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

We heartily invite you to come grow with us, in worship and fellowship, rejoicing that believers are truly set free in Christ.

Our worship is traditional and our fellowship is relaxed and friendly. Both are rooted in God’s forgiveness to us sinners, earned on the cross by Jesus Christ for all people, and received through trust in Him.

In our worship, we receive God’s good gifts of Word and Sacrament and we give Him praise and thanks for them and for all His blessings. In our fellowship we study the bible together, learn, pray, enjoy each others’ company, and occasionally get together for a potluck.

Our highest priority as a congregation is to bear the marks of the Church: To ensure that Christ’s Gospel is preached purely and that His sacraments are given properly.

We meet Sundays at the North Creek Grange Hall, 19510 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell, WA 98012. Bible class is at 9:45 am, and the worship service begins at 11 am. (Easter Sunday service is at 10 am.)

Thursdays at 7:00 pm we have a remote (zoom) bible class. We are currently working our way through the Book of Revelation.

If you are able to attend Sunday services in person, we’d love to see you there. If you would like to take part in our Thursday zoom meeting or have any questions, please give me a call at 425-780-0393. Likewise if you are interested in a free, no-obligation class on the Christian religion, please call.

In Christ,

Pastor James Jenson

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

— Matthew 18:20
